I’m getting behind, here! Jean at Howling Frog Books has two more posts written about children’s authors. The first is about E. Nesbit, who is not as well known in the U.S. as she is in her native England–and it does sound like she had quite the interesting life. The second is about Sydney Taylor, an American author I’d never heard of before, who wrote stories based on her experience as the daughter of Jewish immigrants in early 1900s New York. Do go to Jean’s site to check these two posts out.
